Happy Birthday, Love Daddy

What makes Emma different from most people is that she is very loving and giving. If you need something and ask her, she will typically do it without even thinking about it. She loves to give hugs to her family, especially her daddy. I call her ‘Mini-me’ because you can definitely tell that she is my little girl and that will never change. We all love Emma’s personality that is bursting with energy at the seams…even when we can’t keep up!! I can’t even imagine what life would be like without her.

One of my favorite memories of Emma happened while we were living in our Condo. She would gather up my belts and drag them around behind her. It was her favorite thing to do and never seemed to get bored with it. I had to fight her to get my belts back when I needed them!! Another good memory is riding on Space Mountain at Disneyland. Emma was the only kid brave enough in the family to go a 2nd time. Her sisters were all too scared!! (Sorry Kelli). Of course, let’s not mention what happened right before we got on Soaring over California.

I will always have the memory of Emma’s missing front tooth because it was gone for so long. She had to have it pulled when she was only 2 years old after she fell in the bath tub. She is beautiful though, no matter how many teeth she is missing. I love the curls that show especially when she has short hair. The only downside to that type of hair is that it always has to be done. The plus to that is that Emma is the only one who really likes to do her own hair. Go figure that Emma would be independent like that.

It is hard to believe that Emma is already 7 years old and going into 2nd grade. The time passes by quickly. I will cherish all the wonderful memories we have had together and the many more that we will make in the future. Happy Birthday, Emma!!!
