Happy Birthday, Love Mommy

Emma is so very special to me. My 2nd daughter, she has the biggest heart of any child I have ever known. If you are ever in need of love she is your girl, there to cheer you up when you are down, there to give you love when you don't say you need it, but she knows you need it. She is brilliant in school, and when it comes to math there is no challenge for her. Her friends adore her spunk and enthusiasm. I guess her name must start with an E for Energy and Enthusiasm.

I have so many memories that bring me joy. She used to hide in the toy room when I was potty training her. When we had a puppy, she would run all over the yard to make the puppy chase her. I remember when she wrote a poem about me and said that she loved me more than the bracelet that she made at her friends house, she really loved that bracelet so I knew what it meant. I love it when she comes into the bathroom and asks me for make-up or perfume. When she tells me I am beautiful. I love doing her hair, and having alone time just to talk to her about her thoughts.

I remember when she was little she wanted to sleep with me all the time. She would leave Kelli's bed to come sleep with me and it was such a challenge to get her to stay in her own room. She was the 1st to swim, and she never feared it, she dove in and tried. I remember saving her from a bee that stung me instead when she was only 6 months old...it was worth it. At times she is my challenge, knowing how to push every button, but she knows how to melt my heart to forgive her as well. Her smile is contagious, and she can get a whole room of girls squealing in no time flat. Those pouty lips those bright blue eyes, and that curly hair (that used to be red). I couldn't ask for more personality.

Happy Birthday EmmaLou! I love you more than you could know. I cannot imagine a day without your hugs or kisses, thank you for being MY daughter!
